Hello there, you!
This weekend, whilst he was over from Prague for Hush Hush, I dragged Z-Kat round to mine and we fired up our respective noise-making machines and got BUSY. Click on the eyeball below and open your ears.
Here’s Z-Kat’s set from Hush Hush that night (which you can also download here)
And because I’m in a summery mood due to it being [collision] at Todstock this weekend, here’s some sunny jazzy house vibes pon de free download:
Muchas gracias! Arribbbaaa!!!
My new stabby rave-bass release Make The Beat Drop is out today – Beatport only for the time being – with sexy remixes from Wigan anti-socialite Prawn and Edinburgh-based bass ace Reset The Atari. Also in the package is chiptune-a-thon Sidley’s Kidleys. It’s about a spider.
You may remember that myself and Prawn (The artist formerly known as Doc) had a jungle-off a while back.
Well, I’ve decided to give my track, “Boom Boom Pow Pow” away for free! Press play on the pretty picture above, and follow the link for a top-quality Mp3.

I will now give you a moment to catch your breath as you sit there , flabbergasted by the high production values of the video you just watched. . . . . . .
. . . . ok, thats long enough !
Now prepare for an aural treat, in the form of a fresh and massively downloadable mix from the electrostimulation webcast.

Bristol / Prague based label ELECTROSTIMULATION RECORDS celebrates it’s 3rd Birthday this month, and they decided that Wigan was the only place hard enough to be holding the party!
The label was put together one day after Mr Kinetic found a small plastic Z shaped Kat inside a kinder egg. When left overnight the miniature feline grew to massive proportions! Instead of ringing the RSPCA / Kinder Egg support hotline they decided to set up a label together, and much joy was had by all!
This was back in 2008 and it took them 2 years to finally achieve their ultimate goal, of somehow landing a gig in Wigan.
Since he last joined us, KANJI KINETIC has been busy with all manner of good new things. He’s recently started a free digital label called Mutant Bass, and has many a release due out this year.
We had Z-KAT over here on Boxing Day to play our other night, and he had such a good one he mentioned celebrating the birthday over here in the first place. He’s a lovely bloke/Dj/producer combo and has released various good things on his own label.
Lastly but not leastly our bounty of buffman residents will be supplying a mixture of all things good! Meecha and Tenmen will be doing what they do, and there will be a weird back2front2back/daisy chain at the start from Heapy, Prawn and Oddfellow!

So when I came across the acapella for Demon Cleaner I decided it’d be rude not to give them a bit of a re-rub.
