New Zealand sub-botherers Truth release their debut album today on Aquatic Lab so I thought I’d give it a shout on here. You can grab it / have a listen over at Chemical Records.

On first listen I’d say ‘Dead Silence’ and ‘Terror Planet VIP’ are stand outs but there isnt a bad track on the thing. In my mind they seem to be sticking to the original dubstep half time ethos of space and atmosphere but doing it a lot better than most out there. All the sub/basslines sound amazing as well. Tracks such as ‘Fatman’ will ruin you on a good enough system.

Along with this release I’ve stumbled upon a hefty mix they did for their USA Tour.

Reso really did do some damage when he played for us. I think there are a fair few people who still can’t get over it to be honest. You spot them round town with a vacant look in their eyes wondering what the hell happened to them!

On that note I have just spotted this mix over at The Fat Club and thought I’d give it a ruddy good linking to.
